At Bourbon & Brushes, we've always believed that the best experiences aren't necessarily planned. Sometimes they just happen when good people get together, the bourbon starts flowing, and somebody says, "You know what would make this even better?"
BARBECUE.
And just like that, BB-Q was born.
After all, we already had the BB. All we needed was a Q.
But the more we thought about it, the more we realized that bourbon and barbecue were practically made for each other.
Both take patience. Both appreciate a little smoke. Both have deep American roots. And both have a remarkable way of bringing people together.
So we decided to give them a place of their own in the Bourbon & Brushes family.

There's something special about the smell of barbecue drifting through the air… It makes people slow down. It brings neighbors into backyards, friends around picnic tables, and families together for stories they've probably heard a hundred times but still love hearing.

From the Barrel to the Barbecue
Our love of bourbon has always gone beyond the bottle.
It's about the history, the traditions, the craftsmanship, and the stories that make every pour a little more interesting.
With our FIRST STOP Bourbon and Roadmap Series, we've been building experiences around those stories from the beginning... BB-Q is simply the next chapter.
We're taking the flavors we love and bringing them into the kitchen, onto the smoker, and around the backyard table.
Think bourbon-infused barbecue sauces, smoky glazes, slow-cooked meats, Southern-inspired sides, and recipes with just enough attitude to make things interesting.
And naturally, every great recipe deserves a great story. Some will be inspired by our bourbon. Others by our characters, our Prohibition-era adventures, and the colorful world of Bourbon & Brushes.
A few might even come from family traditions, old memories, or somebody's secret recipe that probably wasn't supposed to leave the kitchen.
We can't promise to keep all the secrets. But we can promise to make things interesting.
